Join us in celebrating  Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights. In honor of the holiday,  we will be indulging our sweet tooth and hosting a doughnut-making workshop in our home.

We will be making ‘Sfenj,’ a Moroccan style of doughnut, and ‘Sufganiyot,’ a traditional Israeli jelly doughnut. Moroccan mint tea will be served to enjoy with the doughnuts.

Doughnuts and other foods fried in oil are traditional Hannukkah treats that are meant to remind us of the tiny quantity of lamp-oil that miraculously burned in the Temple’s menorah for eight days.
