Tanzeya, Caramelized Onions And Pistachios Over White Rice
The traditional way to enjoy the Tanzeya is over white rice, mixed with
caramelized onions and fried almonds. I like to use pistachios,
but if you like to stick to traditions, fry a handful of blanched almonds
and sprinkle on top. You won’t be disappointed.
This is not really a recipe but a serving suggestion for a side dish.
You will need:
Cooked white rice
2 onions, sliced thinly, sautéed
¼ cup chopped pistachios
On a serving plate, place the rice and top with the Tanzeya, caramelized onions and garnish with the chopped pistachios.
