New York Shuk is seeking an Operations Associate. This role provides the opportunity to play an instrumental role in the daily operations and logistics of a fast-growing company. This position reports to the founders of the company and is pivotal in helping maintaining communication with customers, vendors and suppliers while crafting internal organizational controls and best practices.
Skills, Experience And Duties Required:
Customer Service for our online & wholesale customers.
Turning customer's potential issues into incredible experiences. We believe in old fashioned hospitality.
Purchase orders, entering in the system and monitoring through delivery
General Office Support, updating website
Strong verbal and high level of written communication skills
Knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Quickbooks, Squarespace is a plus
Proactive, Self-motivated, self-directed, focused.
Ideally has work experience in related field (food experience desired but not required)
Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and able to make quick judgment calls on priorities and multi-task
Have excellent communication skills and be able to give and receive feedback
Working collaboratively as a team as well as effectively independently comes easy to you
Have exceptional planning and organizational skills.
You love the freedom of an unstructured environment and you are your own biggest critic. Can-do attitude, hustle mentality
You believe that details matter and you sweat the small stuff, because you understand that this is what separates the winners from everyone else.
You LOVE food- read about it, talk about it, cook when you can and strive to always learn more

We are looking for someone who is as passionate about our mission as we are, and who has the fanatical-for-details chops to help the daily operation for a fast growing company. This role is expected to be full-time, with huge room for growth and will operate both remotely and out of the company's offices in Brooklyn, NY.
40 hours/week. Contract based
