TUNA SALAD

 

Perhaps you don’t need a recipe for yet another tuna salad but the flavors of the harissa and preserved lemon give this tuna salad a welcoming upgrade.
We always stock up on canned fish, cause when all else fails, the comfort of whipping up a meal in literally 10 minutes is a win win situation.
A true pantry lunch (or dinner) at its best.

Ingredients:

2 cans of tuna in olive oil, drain

3 hard boiled egg, roughly chopped

3 tablespoons mayo

1/4 red onion, finely chopped

2 tablespoon Signature Harissa and/or Fiery Harissa

2 tablespoon Preserved Lemon Paste

Mix all ingredients together.
Serve on bread, schmear your slice with harissa and preserved lemon paste.
Top with tuna salad and garnish with chopped egg and/or red onion and a sprinkle of harissa.
Trying to cut carbs? Serve over salad.



Play around with your tuna salad!

*Got fresh herbs? Add them in!

*Perhaps some left over corn… sure!
That will go nicely.

*Celery? Why not.

*Pickles? Dice them and throw them in.

*Would rather go for a less spicy spin, swap the Signature Harissa and Fiery with our mild Rosey Harissa
